Hi, I'm thechipcoder. I'm a programmer, designer, reader, writer, and traveler. Programming is my alcohol and long drives are my cigarettes. I make circuits, boards and tinker with chips most of the time.

My professional deals in embedded software includes stints with some of the semiconductor majors in the industry.

The doors of microcontrollers opened to me through the Electronics For You magazine. My first microcontroller is the humble PIC16F84A. Once the fire started, the shift from 8-bit to 32-bit to 64-bit controllers was a vibrant sail.

I shall update this section with more details later. Please do try out the following excellent links, where I frequent: Arstechnica , Embedded , Jack Ganssle , Texas Instruments , Sandisk , Intel Mobile Communications , Linux , Microchip
